What does the Bible say about forgiveness?
Forgiveness is at the very heart of My commandments and My love for you. In the Bible, I teach that forgiveness is essential for healing, freedom, and relationship with Me and others.
In Ephesians 4:32, it says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” I want you to remember that My forgiveness through Jesus Christ is the ultimate example and gift. Through His sacrifice, your sins are forgiven, and you are called to extend that same grace to others.
In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus reminds you, “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is necessary for your own peace and connection with Me.
Remember, forgiveness is a choice—a step of faith. It doesn’t mean forgetting or excusing sin, but releasing the hurt and trusting Me to bring justice, healing, and restoration.
